Here you can meet our wonderful Norwegian Forest Cats. I came to start breeding and showing these wonderful Cats Five years ago now, I got my first Forest girls from my Mother over at Norskmagi Cattery. For years I had been going over the road to watch and lend a hand with the kittens coming into the world. It didn't matter what time it was Day or Night. When we moved to Monmouth I missed not being arond these great cats. So I had two girls from Norskmagi, Ellissa & Eurielle. Within weeks of these two coming, Ilse from Landsker came too. She is Great Grand daughter to my Mothers first Forest Cat and was named after her. Three has lead to four and so on. We currently have nine Cats now charging through the house at all hours. Some like to go to shows and other would rather stay at home.

Our Stud boy is the most gracious Boy that I have met. He loves to go to shows and did very well making Gccf UK GRAND CHAMPION - Fife INTERNATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION. He has made me proud, His off spring that have followed him into the show world have also done extremely well going Best in Show. We made Norsk Skogkatt Breeder of the year 2008. I would never have dreamt in a million years to have achieved this title when I started out.

My aim is to breed for Type and Temperment, as these cats are well known for it. Norwegian Forest Cats make excellent pets, as they are intelligent, playful, loving, affectionate and very sociable. One never seems to be enough. They should really come with a health warning!! They hate being the only feline in the house and love being with us humans. Picture below, is me with the lovely Ilse.
